Welcome to My Website ! ! !
I used the dimensions from the
manufacturer's cut sheet to model
I downloaded the materials list and the dimensions from "Workbench's" website. I modeled all the parts separatly,
and then I put them together in an assembly.
I modeled the equipment first, then connected it with piping which is color coded to represent the chemicals and gases running through the piping.
This Heat Exchanger is 8' high.
I used a cut sheet from the
manufacturer to model it.
I completed a B.F.A. in Sculpture & Painting at Wayne State University when I was first married to Bill Jantz. Then I followed Bill all over the world while he worked as an automotive designer, and it was awesome. I learned a lot about art in all our locations, but I wanted to have an occupation that was more dependabIe, so Bill convinced me to try CAD, Computer Assisted Drafting/Design.
I got my chance when we moved back to Detroit. I took classes at Oakland Community College in Drafting, CAD, Descriptive Geometry, and later Web page Design. I got my first job soon after I finished the classes, and I've been at it for over 20 years. I have progressed from 2D through 3D and now I'm taking classes in 3D printng at Techshop. I want to learn animation next.
